The Common or English oak, Quercus robur , is one of two native members of the oak family.

The tree is a common feature in the UK landscape where it ultimately makes a large, broad headed tree with rugged branching. It is famously long lived.

We are constantly asked for oak bonsai but they are only rarely obtained. This is a simple but effective three tree group. The trunk diam.are 2, 2.5,and 4 cm. Overall the group is 65 cm. in height and spreads to a width of 50 cm. There is a bit of age starting to appear in the trunks and a few more branches and twigs will complete the image. The pot is a plastic bonsai trainer 36x24x6 cm.
