We have had some pretty good Bonsai Chats in the course of this year but certainly yesterday’s June ”chat ” will rank amongst the best.

We would have seen something like a couple of dozen or more enthusiasts from right across the region here at various times of the day.

What is not clear from this photo is that I was facetiously  offering poor Sam the use of my specs following a comment that he made that I questioned unkindly, such is the nature of the friendly banter at these days that he took it in good part.

The day started quietly enough with just a handful of regulars with some of theirs trees to play with.

David attends most times along with his wife Jane.

Long time Willowbogger Terry is always happy to pass on some advice.

A good look is usually required.

The afore mentioned Sam keeping up with the routine work on his bonsai which are housed here on a temporary basis.

Paul, with neighbour Richard behind him, gets on with de-wiring his juniper which is also temporarily housed here.

Again a good look is always a good idea.

As is a bit of extra help !

Antony was also de-wiring a juniper.

Angela popped in briefly for some wise words on her Hinoki cypress from Caz.

Jane and David talk to a couple of visitors about their bonsai.

Diane works quietly away on her trees.

Two very well known Willowbog faces, Len and Malcolm.

Tony is another very familiar face at Bonsai Chat.

A serious face from John but a regal wave from Terry.

Wow, three more serious faces !  Neil,  Peter and Malcolm.

That’s more like it ,  ” see no sense, hear no sense and certainly speak no sense ”  A bit of lunch left on the table I see, we clearly could have entertained more folk , why not come along and join us in July.
