Marc Nöelanders at Willowbog Bonsai: October 2006

The weekend of the 14th and 15th October saw Willowbog welcome back one of Europe’s leading bonsai artists, Mr Marc Noelanders, for two days of workshops. Thanks to last minute bookings the workshops were fully subscribed with ten participants taking the twelve places over the two days.

A wide variety of material was brought to the workshops, though in the main they were all trees that had been worked on before to a greater or lesser extent. Marc has a reputation for excellent working of deadwood in bonsai design and as a result many of the trees had been brought along for the creation or refinement of deadwood.
