 Beginner's Workshops/Lessons at Willowbog Bonsai
Just started with bonsai or just have a keen interest in the art of bonsai?
The aim of the beginner's workshop is to provide newcomers to the hobby with an insight into the ideas and techniques that form the basis for shaping trees into bonsai. Put more simply, why we do it and how we do it, we can look at and work on participants trees or nursery trees, or just talk about bonsai. You will find it a hugely informative, relaxed and most enjoyable day, of that you can be assured!
£25.00 for the full day includes lunch and refreshments / 10am - 4pm

 Peter Warren Workshops at Willowbog

Following another hugely successful weekend workshops at Willowbog in March, Willowbog Bonsai are delighted to be again holding a weekend of workshops with professional bonsai artist Peter Warren, who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of Bonsai after studying and working for many years as a traditional bonsai apprentice under bonsai master, Kunio Kobayashi, at the world-famous Shunka-en nursery in Tokyo, Japan.
 Peter is a widely respected bonsai professional and continues to work regularly in Japan with Kunio Kobayashi, plus a popular instructor across the USA and Europe - receiving rave reviews from his workshop students.
Peter Warren now holds workshops at Willowbog Bonsai three times during the year, which enables seasonally relevant topics to be covered on participants trees.
Peter is proving to be a very popular teacher here with his relaxed and informal style. One recommendation is that Willowboggers who have worked with all the leading teachers that we have had in the past have said how much they enjoy Peter Warren’s workshops.
